Marian Kilpatrick is a licensed South Carolina real estate agent affiliated with Carolina One Real Estate.

Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on the Site, such as a contact form, a home value request, or a property search registration, we collect the information you enter. That can include your name, email address, phone number, property address, and message, along with any details about your buying or selling plans you choose to share.
If you create a property search account or sign up for listing alerts, we also collect your saved searches, favorite properties, and alert preferences.
If you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect the name, email address, and comment you submit.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, the website that referred you, and your general location based on your IP address.
On the property search pages, we also collect the searches you run and the listings you view. If you are registered, this activity is connected to your account.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and requests, including showing requests and home value requests
- Send the listing alerts and market updates you sign up for
- Follow up with you about real estate services you have asked about
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
- Understand how visitors use the Site
- Comply with legal obligations and brokerage recordkeeping requirements
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following situations:
- With Carolina One Real Estate, the brokerage Marian is affiliated with, as part of its supervision and recordkeeping responsibilities.
- With service providers that operate parts of the Site for us. These include our website host and developer; IDX Broker, which powers the property search, registration, and listing alerts; email delivery services that send form notifications; Google Analytics, which measures Site traffic; and Elfsight, which displays client reviews. These providers may use your information only to provide their services.
- With other professionals in your transaction, such as lenders, inspectors, closing attorneys, or cooperating agents, when you ask us to or when it is necessary to complete a transaction you are part of.
- When required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of you, us, or others.
Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use it.
We use Google Analytics to measure Site traffic. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and how you arrived at the Site. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
The Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and a reviews display from Elfsight. When these load, your browser connects to their servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information.
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies. If you do, some features, such as saved searches, may not work properly.
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for how to respond to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
Email and Text Messages
Email. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails and listing alerts at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still send messages related to an active transaction or request.
Text messages. If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry, showings, listings, and related real estate services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of buying or selling property or of using our services. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Your Choices
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your information
- Stop sending you marketing emails, calls, or texts
To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may keep certain information when we are required to by law or brokerage recordkeeping rules, such as records of a completed transaction.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. That includes as long as you have a property search account or an ongoing working relationship with us, and as long as required for legal and recordkeeping purposes.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or method of electronic transmission is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers or bank account details, through the Site’s forms.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
The Site links to other websites and services, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
